SUBJECT: Appointing a Supervisory Board Member of Izostal S.A.

CONTENT OF THE REPORT:
Izostal S.A. (Company) Management announces that on 16.05.2013 the Annual General Meeting of Izostal S.A. passed a resolution on appointing Mr. Andrzej Baranek as a Supervisory Board Member.

Mr Andrzej Baranek (born on 1955) has a university degree in technology. He graduated from Politechnika Śląska in Metallurgy Faculty. Moreover Mr. Andrzej Baranek has completed a supervisory boards candidates course.

Course of career:
- in years 1979 – 1993 worked in Steel Works Repair Company in Dąbrowa Górnicza at the following posts: Individual Technical Worker, Repairs Specialist, Production Preparation and Completion Department Manager, Rolling Mill Repair Department Deputy Manager.
- in years 1993 – 1997 worked in Steel Works Repair Company Consortium S.A. as Management Board President
- in years 1998 up to date worked in Stalprofil S.A. as Trade Department Technical Deputy Manager and Investments Department Manager of Stalprofil S.A.

Mr. Andrzej Baranek has also fulfilled duties of Supervisory Board member in Steel Works Repair Company FENIX-1 Sp z.o.o. in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

Mr. Andrzej Baranek is not engaged in any competition activity against Izostal S.A., do not participate in any competitive company as a partner of civil law partnerships, partnerships or as a member of a body of a capital company nor is he a member of any others competitive legal entities. He has not been entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained pursuant to the Legal Act of the National Court Register.

Specific legal basis: §5 clause 1 item 22 of the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance of February 19, 2009 on current and periodic information disclosed by the issuers of commercial papers and the conditions for recognizing as equivalent the information required by the laws of a non-member state (Journal of Laws No. 33, item 259 as amended).
